"Thus shall ye say unto them, The Gods that have not made the heavens and the earth,
even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom,
and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion." ~ Jeremiah 10: 11-12
even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom,
and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion." ~ Jeremiah 10: 11-12
At the foundation of the universe, long before the ages of man, the great entities were forged from intense emanations of the Great Will. Begotten - not born - they were cast forth as the first substance of Creative Force incarnate. They were Gods over the Cosmos; agents of potency through which Divinity had willed Itself to express. Inasmuch that they represented the consciousness of the universe, they were merely an epigonous conspiracy of this Great Will's substantial principles and categorical ideas. They had come into being with a generated intelligence that organized into compassions and desires, corresponding only to such extent as their extravasation from the consonance of a once pristine and Absolute arrangement had entitled them.
This was, of course, in accord with the First Aeon; the dawning moment of the "Ideal Externalization"; when Consciousness as Awareness itself becomes the "Light of the Logos"; when Adi-Nath invests Itself as Daiviprakriti. This is to say that, "the image of God had introduced into manifestation Its first sheath of ethereal bodies". In this prochronic "First Breath" the logo and the word were at once - and in certainty - expressed. For the purpose of our heritage, you may consider Adi-Nath as Adonai for this was the moment when the voice of The Great Will spoke; "Ehyeh" (I AM). It was from this one eloquent gesture, "Kether", "Chochmah", and "Binah"; that "which is", that "which is wise", and that "which understands" began a new phase of existence.
Yet, nascent Consciousness organizing Self-Truth into Self-Awareness for the first of times was merely the morning of this manvantara. This was a shock to Its system, even as the energy of all potential becomes ennobled with the act of expression. So, to hone the greatness and temper the power, came forth Chesed, the masculine form of grace and mercy, and Geburah, the feminine form of strength and severity. Yesod entered into his reality for building foundation and Tiphaireth for her ornamental beauty and glory. For certain and inevitable victory in this great cosmic organization - and for the duration of all eternity - came forth the masculine, Naitsach. Then, the emanation of Hod, the female form of majesty and splendor, and Malchut, for the kingdom and government.
These then, are the Elohim. To the Jewish Kabbalists, the Christian Cabalists, and Hermetic Qabalists, they are the identities within and upon the Tree Of Life. For my purposes, they are the spirits of the "Great Cosmic Counsel", and from each, came the permissions and justifications, the ideas and tools for implementing and fabricating all the rest of Creation. They are the mediators and the delegates for manifest realities unseen and unknown by mere mortal minds. Yet, for your effort, you may consider them as a coalition of rainbow colored light and a resonant sublimation of sounds. The Elohim are Sephira, before man's definitions had enumerated and placed them upon the "Tree of Life". It is this Great Cosmic Counsel whom are the first inchoative emanations of visible existence. For all intents and purposes, Elohim are the Plêrôma as it functions; the neural system of the Godhead. The Sephiroth are Its initial gradations of power, or categorical ideas in which the consciousness of the universe expresses itself.
Initially, the logo was balanced in harmony, but just as the unified word separates into its consonants and syllables, into letters, their distinct order, sounds and shapes, the manifestation of reality was to be patterned as well. Yet, by the simple fact of an expressive existence, the Mind of God had introduced an occult law that all things in reality must adhere to. This is known as the "law of attraction", and its implications involve the bindings of object and location. The law was irreversible, and without such bindings, the manifest would not be expressed nor would phenomenon be experienced. In other words; "an object (or an entity) cannot exist without a location (or an enviroment) to contain it, and a location cannot exist without a 'contrasting' object to define it" - no entity can exist without an environment within which it must be placed, and this placement is defined by the presence of mind.
The transformation was both immutable and exotic to the Elohim for they had emerged from the Mind of God, and yet had come forth as the Body. It was their collective whose face was upon the first dawn of self awareness; they were the actualization of God themselves.
They were alaya, causal bodies arisen from the monistic ideal; the first Logos. Elohim as Sephiroth, the hypostasis coagulates and a second logos manifests. The Sephiroth were the pioneering archetypes of willed force, seething and writhing in a community of self circulation. As the actualized face of God, they were bound to each other - and to the Godhead - through the law of attraction. Yet, light and sound without planar dimensions to operate within - without a mutual field of boundaries to define an essence - is nothing more than exerted force moving its influence in no direction at all. With their ability to entwine and converge, they explored their enhancements and mutabilities with one another. While the Godhead was the volume, the Sephiroth were the "conduit" for this source of Infinite Potential. Eventually, they came to realize that their destiny would be to sustain this volume by an absolute "necessity to interact" within it - a peculiar function that fractally reoccurs throughout all subsequent planes of reality. The law of attraction became their impetus. It was the very tool they required for expressing any possibility - and from an Infinite pool, there would be many of these.
Create a location and a resident will inhabit it. Create a sentient entity and it will dwell within it's habits.
As they began to discover their own force of will and mediating authority, the Sephiroth found that they could add volume and dimension to themselves, as well as to the "bursting forth" of reality. They found that, as the face of God Himself, they were His ability to behave as a chameleon. They had created a mutual field of boundaries into which, they could exchange units of influence, imbuing these with various layers of quality and density. These epigonous layers, both fractal and holographic, could now be defined as; "Creation". The Sephiroth had begun to phenomenalize their own infinite potential.
Of course, an alternative scenario could be elaborated upon as well. One where free will manifests with more negative connotations. In this turn, there would yield an entirely different perspective of the very same story. The very same players would just as easily be seen in a more diabolical and sinister illumination. This artistry would replace one name with another so as not to impugn the specific aspect of Divinity with which any singular ego may intimately identify. Yet God remains at the seat of its perfection. Most assuredly, through the opinions of the "temporal many" whom have followed, the story of Creation would branch from this point.
In the absence of dualisms, God prevails as the "coincidence of opposites" in every scenario. The Sephiroth might be viewed as antagonists rather than as a harmony of light and sound. They were, by all accounts, trapped with one another. Face to face, with an inescapable fate for what perhaps would be an eternity. There was no "external other" place for departing to when patience draws thin, for they were already all that composed the very totality of existence. They were bound by the very same law of attraction, for they could only be within themselves - the "selves" of God, and it's many expressions. They were but objects within a confinement preordained by the God Will from which they manifested; literally, a "bondage of 'self-creation'". Yet, with the same powers and mediating authority they had always been blessed, the Sephiroth had but one option, and that was to look within. They could look within and manifest new horizons of hope and joy upon themselves; to percieve their collective as a blossoming and ever expanding positive influence upon reality, or they could look within to escape what faced them on the surface; effectively "shrinking" or "withering" away into objectification and superficiality. In any event, Creation - of "whatever" - could only be made within.
As has been mentioned elsewhere ("Origins"; part 4), any movement within is a matter of nondescript direction upon the Mobius plane of consciousness. The quality of being within, is the same quality as being without. It is only from the eyes of omniscience that the holographic fractal of it all can best be viewed.
Before the Sephiroth lay a vast antecedent of nothingness; an undefined chaos of mutual wills merely holding their own images with full autonomy to abscond with. The view may have been as their artisan's easel, or it may have simply been offensive to them. In any event, as the "I-Mages" of their own Self-existence, the Great Entities had personal license to create. And so, with the motivations of oblivion before them, and with regard for the law, they began to move forth upon the face of their own deep. The first objective was, "that space shall be formed and all void shall be filled with meaning". And so, this task began in the temperament of divine, unconditional love, with respect for all diversity that pools in the wells of Absolute Potential, and with the Joy of privilege to be expressed.
The "consist" of Reality would be based upon various hierarchies, and the emanations of the Dhyan-Chohans and Archangels were made manifest for utility in these endeavors. Even the vastness of Heaven was made into a phenomenon composed of various dimensions and layers of purity. Overall, it was profound beauty, organized into perfection and order; a rapport of sound and sight, and inundated with the pronounced sensations of bliss and agreement amongst all of its inhabitants. The energy patterns were masterpieces of synchronicity vibrating to fathomless depths and dizzying heights. Far and wide, Heaven transcended all potential discord for it embodied nothing but pure harmony. It was such a work "worthy of existing" that there soon came to be many worlds and many beings created for the sole enjoyment of its far reaching perfection. Heaven became vast enough for communities to emerge within. It consisted of galaxies where divine energies were sustained as multidimensional hubs for various centralized purposes and its borders reached to the edge of eternity.
The next generation of conscious entities were the Demiurge. They were brought forth from the Plêrôma as carriers of the divine laws and architects of the "sensible worlds". They were the surrogate Masters who would transfer the heavenly doctrines, and power wielders capable of new formulations of intent. And though their names would be slurred and distorted by mortal tongues - a consequence of hyperphysical dialect - many translations would appear in man's time to describe them. Some of the more common terms used in his language would reveal them as Abraxas, Archon, Immanuel, Brahma, Jehova or Lucifer. Yet there were many more than these, and those of whom I speak now are represented by certain inhabitants of twenty four particular galaxies and various members within the twenty five Buddhic Houses of Lord Kundie's Heavenly court.
