kairos is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). It signifies a time "in between," a moment of indeterminate time in which something special happens. Also means "weather" in both ancient and modern Greek. The plural, (kairoi) means "the times".
kamakala (Tantrik & Sanskrit): Essence of desire. In Shri Vidya (Knowledge of the Shri Yantra) it means that for creation sperm and egg must come together.
kama rupa 1. (in Esoteric Buddhism): Animal Soul (of man). 2. (Theosophy): the psychic corpse which is left behind at physical death, and slowly fades out as a distinct, coherent form.
karanatman (Sanskrit) [from karana cause + atman self] The causal self; the divine source of one's being, from which flow forth in a descending scale in continuously less ethereal grades and qualities the various elements which form the human compound constitution.
kriya 1.: The "Self" realization of Self is called Kriya. This is the first manifestation within the Spiritual realms. The First Logo is the first state of activity, the first expression as Creative Mind, Kriya, the Universal Sat, Brahma, the Holy Spirit, Chochmah. It is on the Atmic plane where Kriya is formed. In Wisdom, Kriya is the preserving power ordered through Reason; this corresponds with Chit, Vishnu, Binah, the Son. 2.: Sometimes electric-like shocks that can cause the physical body to twitch.
laya center; centre A Laya Centre is a neutral or zero point of equilibrium where substance becomes homogeneous and static.
Linga-Sarira (The Secret Doctrine ; Sanskrit) : A pattern or "model-body", only slightly more ethereal than the physical body. The Linga-sarira is formed before the body is formed, and thus serves as a model or pattern around which the physical body is molded. It is composed of electromagnetic matter, which is somewhat more refined than the matter of our physical body. (The "Secret Doctrine" indicates that the whole world was composed of such matter in far past ages before it became the dense physical sphere it now is).
logos (Encyclopedia of God) an intermediate class of beings of God. God's creative force. The word or form which expresses a thought, also, the thought. Word and thought. A logos can be thought of as a vast deity which has the ability to be a Creator.
